Quiet control for your MacBook notch.
Timers, media, calendar, agents and stats. Live in the notch, out of your way.

Make the notch yours.
Choose the theme, size and width, the tools in the launcher, and the live activities beside the camera. Set whether the notch opens on hover or click — every change lands on it immediately.
Everything the notch shows is a setting: Black or Glass, Small to Large, the launcher's tools, live activities, and how it opens. Changes apply as you make them, and Restore Defaults brings the original look back.
The notch stays put. Everything else is yours.
Live, right at the edge.
A call, a timer, a working agent, the next meeting, a track, a download — the notch keeps the one that matters most beside the camera while you work, then tucks back into the bezel when it is done. It reads the apps you already use; there is nothing new to sign into.
One notch, whatever is live.
The Arrowslit guide, in one note.
The notch on this page is a working replica of Arrowslit, Jay Gopal’s free, open-source utility for the MacBook notch. The full guide lives with the source.
- Open it with a hover over the top centre, or a click. Escape or moving away closes it.
- Find a tool in the grid at the top right: thirteen tools, two rows per page. Scroll for page two, or hold a tile to pin it beside Home.
- Keep it running: timers, calls, media, downloads and agent work stay beside the camera when the notch is closed.
- Make it yours in Settings: Black or Glass, size and width, what stays live, and hover or click.
Install, every tool and shortcut, settings, privacy and fixes.

- Open it from Applications. macOS asks once; allow it in Privacy & Security.
